Your journey starts with a Life Planning meeting – this is your chance to create a vision for your life in the coming years and to compile your Bucket WheelTM items. Here we map out your expectations for the next chapter of your life and consider what you are retiring to. You will receive a Life Plan to refer to.
While you can visit us any time, we do recommend that you make an appointment for a complimentary meeting. At the first meeting, which lasts about 90 minutes, you’ll meet two of our RetiremeantTM Specialists. They will spend time listening to your situation and concerns and share with you what we do, and how we do it, including key concepts and terms. They will explain that your personalised Retiremeant TM Plan comprises three important parts: a Life Plan, a Financial Plan and an Estate Plan.
We will review your current financial situation and then explore different scenarios of how long your money will last, taking into account what you need for a secure RetiremeantTM.
We are here to help you navigate a complex financial world and you’ll have an in-depth Financial Planning meeting beginning with a review of your current financial situation. Our Planning Specialists will help you address and understand the issues that give you sleepless nights. Considering your needs for a secure RetiremeantTM, we then structure your personalised Financial Plan and look at different scenarios of how long your money will last.
With your Financial Plan in mind, we start looking at what investment strategy you need and how it needs to be structured to get optimal returns while managing investment risk and minimising cost at the same time.
Your next meeting is about planning your Estate where we discuss your wishes for when you are no longer here. Once we fully understand what your wishes are, we plan your Will, Trust, beneficiaries, Estate duty and liquidity. We look at how your affairs are structured to minimise taxes and duty and advise you on the most appropriate structure to make sure that your Estate Plan does what you intend it to do. This ensures that you have peace of mind knowing that your wishes are executed.
Once these phases of our planning process are complete, you will receive a RetiremeantTM Plan that includes your Life Plan, Financial Plan (which incorporates your Investment Plan), and your Estate Plan. At this point, you can choose whether you would like us to move forward to implement your Plan.
It’s our goal that you don’t take any chances with your money on your journey in RetiremeantTM. Our Investment implementation service uses the leading investment vehicle administrators and a network of local and global investment consulting professionals. This ensures that your investment strategy is achieved using the lowest possible level of risk. We provide administration and consolidated, customised reporting of the highest quality. You will also always have your RetiremeantTM Specialist available to answer your questions.
Your journey with us is ongoing. We are here for you for the long-term and will journey with you throughout RetiremeantTM. We support you with annual reviews, consolidated reporting and regular communications, and we track, and securely back up your files so nothing is ever lost. We host an entire website devoted to our RetiremeantTM community with client stories, tips, and helpful information on how to have a successful RetiremeantTM. And all this ensures you’ll always have a welcome place in our Chartered Family.
