Navigating a Volatile Week: Staying Steady Through Uncertainty

This past week has certainly introduced some turbulence after a good start to the year. While I prefer not to start on a negative note, it’s important to acknowledge the significant market shifts we’ve experienced. Both global markets and our local currency have faced considerable pressure, triggered by President Trump’s tariff announcement and our local government not seeing eye to eye on the budget. However, in times like these, it is crucial not to panic. Instead, we encourage you to remain calm, trusting that the chaos will eventually settle. As always, we are here to offer support and reassurance should you need it.

A Bright Spot: Nationwide Roadshows with Jeremy Gardiner

Amidst the volatility, one of the highlights of the past month has been the incredible engagement during our nationwide roadshows with Jeremy Gardiner. For the past 10 years, Jeremy has captivated audiences with his insightful and entertaining discussions on the local and global political and economic landscape. These events provide valuable opportunities for Kim, our team of Planning Specialists, and me to meet with clients across the country. It’s always a privilege to share a meal, a glass of wine, and a great conversation, reinforcing the importance of staying connected and informed. Thank you to everyone who joined us.

For those who couldn’t attend or would like a refresher, we have scheduled an online event with Jeremy Gardiner via Zoom at 17:30 on Thursday, 10 April. In light of recent market developments, this will be an excellent opportunity to gain further insights. We hope to see you there.
