Donovan Adams

Donovan is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^® who embraces Chartered Wealth Solutions’ holistic approach to financial planning. He believes in keeping investing simple and that money should be a means to an end, not an end in itself. Donovan’s philosophy is encapsulated in his motto, “Plan well. Invest simply. Live generously.” Donovan has a BCom Honours degree in Business Management and obtained his Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning from the University of the Free State. He also holds an Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Estate Planning and Risk Management. Donovan was a finalist and runner-up in the FPI Financial Planner of the Year competition in 2013 and 2014. In 2015, he opened the first Chartered office outside Johannesburg in Port Elizabeth. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters, playing the piano, squash, running, golfing, and woodworking.
